This Amethyst comes from famous Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.  It contains a multitude of trace minerals and has traveled under the banner of "Auralite 23 (tm)" but there is a slight difference in location in Canada between the two minerals albeit they both are a hematite capped banded Amethyst and have many trace minerals contained in the pieces.
